Brandon Carter (he/him), CRA, CFRA, serves as Vanguard’s Grants & Reporting Lead, supporting grant development, reporting, research coordination, and project implementation across Vanguard’s archival and cultural heritage initiatives. He brings approximately seven years of progressively responsible experience in grant administration, research coordination, and project support, along with more than a decade of broader professional experience in research and program operations.

His work at Vanguard includes grant research and development, project tracking, reporting, research coordination, and financial and administrative support for projects serving artists, cultural organizations, and community-based collections. Brandon brings experience in grant administration, nonprofit operations, project management, and research systems that support the effective implementation and long-term sustainability of archival and cultural preservation work.
