Brandon Carter (he/him) is Grants and Archival Projects Analyst at Vanguard Archives Consulting. 
 
Brandon serves as the Grants and Archival Project Analyst for Vanguard Archives Consulting, supporting the development, management, and implementation of archival and cultural heritage initiatives. He brings approximately seven years of progressively responsible experience in grant administration, research coordination, and project support, along with more than a decade of broader professional experience in research and program operations.

His work focuses on grant development, project tracking, research coordination, and financial and administrative support for archival initiatives serving artists, cultural organizations, and community-based collections. Brandon brings knowledge of grant administration, nonprofit operations, project management, and research systems that support the long-term sustainability of archival and cultural preservation projects.

Through his role at Vanguard, he contributes to the planning and implementation of archival programs that strengthen the preservation and stewardship of Black cultural history and community-based collection.
